My chocolate chip cookies, even though eggless, are so fudgy and delicious. They melt in the mouth. That's because of the brown sugar and melted butter combined. I'm also adding a little bit of cream cheese for softness. That is why it is soft and chewy inside. The vanilla-chocolatey flavor gives them a fragrant smell that children love. So these chocolate chip cookies are just perfect for children's merienda (snacks).
Chocolate chip cookies are perfect for snacking anytime. I love to eat them warm and straight from the oven. Children like them completely cooled. And if there's still any cookies left (usually none!) some can be saved in a cookie jar for later use.
Ingredients:
1/2 c Tbsp butter (melted)
1 Tbsp cream cheese (opt)
3/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 c chocolate chips
salt
Procedure:
1. Mix all dry ingredients.
2. Add butter, cream cheese, vanilla and chocolate chips.
3. Mix together to make a soft dough, adding a little water if needed.
4. Form into balls. Flatten with the back of a spoon. Bake and serve.
